Debbie Lombardi, Au.D., CCC-A/SLP, is a dual-certified audiologist and speech-language pathologist with over 28 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults improve communication and hearing. She is the owner of Speech & Sound Connection and the previous owner of Premiere Speech and Hearing, where she served the community for over 20 years.
Debbie’s clinical experience spans schools, hospitals, and private practice, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both the educational and medical aspects of care. This background allows her to create thoughtful, individualized plans that address real-life communication needs at home, in school, and in everyday environments.
Throughout her career, Debbie has developed particular expertise in auditory processing, aural rehabilitation, hearing loss, tinnitus, and misophonia, in addition to speech and language therapy. She works with individuals across the lifespan and is passionate about helping each person better understand and manage their listening and communication challenges in a way that feels practical and achievable.
Debbie is known for her clear, supportive, and practical approach. She takes time to listen, explain findings in easy-to-understand language, and provide strategies that carry over into daily life. Her goal is not only to improve skills, but also to build confidence and reduce the stress that often comes with communication difficulties.
Outside of her professional work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family and being involved in her local community. She values building meaningful connections both personally and professionally, which is reflected in the care she provides to every client.

Karen has been an integral part of Debbie's private practice for more than 20 years, providing compassionate support to patients and families from their very first phone call through every step of their care. Her friendly personality, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional customer service help create a welcoming and positive experience for every individual who contacts the practice.
Karen assists with scheduling, patient communication, insurance and billing coordination, and many of the day-to-day operations that keep the practice running smoothly. She understands that navigating speech, language, and hearing services can sometimes feel overwhelming, and she takes pride in helping families feel informed, supported, and cared for.
Having worked alongside Debbie for over two decades, Karen shares the same commitment to personalized service, strong relationships, and treating every patient like family. Together, they have helped thousands of children and adults receive the quality communication and hearing care they deserve.
