Our specialties include speech and language therapy, auditory processing evaluation and therapy, language and auditory services for children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, cochlear implant rehabilitation and support for tinnitus and misophonia. In addition to virtual services across Pennsylvania, concierge audiology services are available throughout Eastern Lancaster County, including hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, hearing aid support, and hearing rehabilitation.

Meet the Provider
Hello! I'm Debbie Lombardi, Au.D., CCC-A/SLP, a dual-certified Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 28 years of experience helping children and adults communicate with confidence.
My professional journey has included hospitals, schools, early intervention, and private practice, but my greatest passion has always been building lasting relationships with the individuals and families I serve. For more than 20 years, I owned and operated Premiere Speech and Hearing, where I had the privilege of caring for thousands of patients while building a multi-specialty practice centered on personalized, family-focused care. In 2026, I transitioned ownership of that practice while continuing my commitment to helping individuals through Speech & Sound Connection.
Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, including those who use hearing aids and cochlear implants. Helping children develop listening, spoken language, and auditory skills has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I also enjoy working with individuals with auditory processing disorders, tinnitus, misophonia, hearing loss, and adults recovering from concussion or other communication challenges.
As both a clinician and a parent, I understand that life is busy and every family's journey is unique. My goal is to provide therapy that is practical, encouraging, and personalized—giving families strategies they can confidently use in everyday life. I believe communication is about much more than speech or hearing; it's about building meaningful connections with the people around us.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and teenage daughter, supporting her many activities, enjoying everything Lancaster County has to offer, or relaxing with our two Cairn Terriers, Maisie and Charlie.

Because we operate primarily as a private-pay practice, our recommendations are based solely on what is clinically appropriate for you or your child. This allows us to provide individualized evaluations, one-on-one therapy sessions, flexible scheduling, and treatment plans designed around your goals rather than insurance requirements.

Insurance and Reimbursement
Speech & Sound Connection is currently contracted with several insurance plans.
Payment is due at the time of service. Upon request, we are happy to provide a detailed superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Because every insurance plan is different, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to determine your individual benefits before your appointment.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Many speech-language pathology and audiology services may be eligible for payment through Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). We recommend checking with your plan administrator regarding your specific benefits.
